HOW ARE 2D AND 3D FILMS DIFFERENT?

2D films are flexible and severe fabrication is possible such as tight radius bends, hems, louvers, slots, etc. 3D films are rigid and are great for flat panels and light fabrication such as curves and generous radius bends. More severe fabrication is possible if the part is pre-heated. Your part or project will determine the best selection.

Clad Rex offers a myriad of colors from Dackor. These films are in stock in 3D, 12 mil thickness, and are great for flat lamination and light fabrication. For more extensive fabrication and tight radius bends, these colors are available in 8 mil with 1500 yard minimum runs.

Clad Rex offers this vast selection of woodgrains, colors, metallics, stones, and patterns by Belbien. These films are 6 mil 2D and can withstand most fabrication. Most are in stock with a short lead time and small minimum quantities
